Today on December 2nd, 2020 Nvidia launched its new 3060 series GPU “Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060 Ti”. The new GPU from the company comes with new Ampere architecture and according to the company offers better and faster performance than the previous generation RTX 2080 super. For now, only one GPU has been announced by the company in the lineup of 3060 but we will shortly able to see the non-Ti-model of RTX 3060. Being a GeForce RTX card, it comes with ray tracing and AI-powered DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling).
Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060 Ti
Nvidia is directly targeting the Geforce RTX 3060 Ti towards 1080p and 1440p gaming resolution. The graphic card comes with the latest Nvidia DLSS support which is powered by dedicated Tensor Cores found on GeForce RTX series GPUs. The GPU comes with Nvidia reflex technology to reduce the latency and provide a better and responsive gaming experience to the users. The latest Ti GPU also supports the latest advanced GeForce Experience features including recording and streaming gameplay, taking screenshots, and optimizing games.
The Geforce RTX 2060 series is a direct predecessor to the GeForce RTX 3060 series. The RTX 3060 Ti founders edition offers 38 Streaming Multiprocessors (SM), 4,864 CUDA cores which are about double more than that of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Super Founders Edition. The RTX 3060 Ti Founders Edition has 152 third-generation Tensor cores and 38 second-generation RT cores. Also, it has 152 texture units 80 ROPs (Render Output Units), and a memory clock of 7,000MHz. The founders edition boost clock is 1,665 MHz and the company equipped the GPU with 8GB GDDR6 VRAM with a 256-bit memory interface.

The Nvidia offers much better performance and improved specification for its latest Geforce RTX 3060 Ti founders almost in every aspect as compared with RTX 2060 super founders edition, but on the other hand, the latest GPU also utilizes more power i.e. 200W as compared to 175W for the latter.
