Today, Apple unveiled its premium over-the-ear headphone with active noise cancellation, AirPods features, and Apple styling. Apple new AirPods Max is going to be out to release on December 15 of this year.
The new premium over-the-ear headphone is also coming with a premium price range with an introductory price of $549 USD (for India it is going to available with a price of Rs. 59,900/-) made these headphones an unreachable target for many Apple lovers, the Preorders of the new AirPods Max are going to start from today. With the same features and looks other companies are also there like Sony, Bose, etc. But Apple is in the market with its own price ranges that are really unpredictable.
The AirPods max is going to feature Apple’s “custom acoustic design” with a 40mm driver to give user “deep bass, accurate mid-range, and crisp, clean high-frequency extension so every note can be heard.” Along with these Apple has also provided some new features to be introduced in the AirPods series that are: adaptive EQ, transparency mode, spatial audio, and audio sharing.

The AirPods are going to be available in five different colors: space gray, silver, sky blue, green, and pink. With incredible features like “Noise cancellation, Deep bass, Clean High frequency extension” makes the over-the-ear headphones more better and a complete new revolution in Apple AirPods series.

The battery life of the AirPods Max is so good that if you are in hurry and can’t charge it out fully then also 5 minutes charge can give you a playback time of 90 minutes which I think is more than enough for any of the premium over-the-ear headphone.
Smart Case
Apple is also introducing a “Smart Case” for its newly introduced AirPods Max which will automatically put the headphones into a low-power state. Which is a good step feature by the company for its new product. But unfortunately, according to the recent reports, there is no clue that Apple is going to provide a hard shell cover for their new AirPods which is some negative thing about its new premium headphones.
Comparison with Other Premium Brands Headphones
As we compare the Apple New AirPods Max with other premium brands in-ear headphones like Sony, Bose, and others we can found it similar that Apple’s noise-cancellation system produces anti-noise to hush external sound by using six outward-facing microphones. Two inward-facing mics measure what you’re hearing to cancel out additional distractions. Apple also claims the AirPods Max performs well for voice calls (even in windy conditions) with their built-in beamforming mics.
Now the biggest question is that Is Apple’s AirPods max will provide the sound quality according to the price offered by the company as there is a number of other premium headphones of other brands available in the market also like Sony, Bose, Sennheiser, AKG, Bowers, and Wilkins, and others that have years of experience and a long list of products between them.
For paying that much for the Apple New AirPods Pro one can also buy the direct competitor present in the market by Sony that is Sony 1000XM4 which will be available at a much cheap cost as compared with Apple. Also, Sony 1000XM4 offers features like Support of LDAC, a wireless audio codec that isn’t too far off from CD quality.
