Today on May 13th ASUS globally launched its new flagship smartphones “ASUS Zenfone 8” and “ASUS Zenfone 8 Flip”. Both of the latest smartphones were powered by the same powerful Snapdragon 888 SoC processor and features a full HD+ display screen.
For the pricing, the new ASUS Zenfone 8 costs from $599 onwards and is available in Obsidian Black and Horizon Silver color options. And for the other ASUS Zenfone 8 Flip model, the price is set as $965 and is available in Galactic black and Glacial silver color options.
Even ASUS launched its latest flagship smartphones globally but due to Corona Pandemic in some regions, the smartphones will launch after some time for now both the smartphones will be made available for purchase in Europe and the US in the coming next weeks.
ASUS Zenfone 8 Specs and Features
Let’s first start with the display of the new Zenfone 8, the smartphone features a 5.9 inch full HD+ AMOLED display with 1080X2400 pixel resolution. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate and comes with a protective layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on the top.
MOve to the processor of the smartphone, Zenfone 8 powered with one of the latest Snapdragon 888 SoC processors. The handset comes in three RAM variants model 6GB, 8GB, and 16GB paired with 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB storage space.
For the camera of the smartphone, the company features the phone with a dual-camera setup with a 64 Megapixels the Main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and 12 Megapixels ultra wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture. For the selfie, the smartphone features a 12 Megapixels front camera.
The smartphone runs on an Android 11 setup topped with the company’s own ZenUI 8 software. An In-display finger sensor is given in the smartphone for the phone lock feature and the phone is equipped with stereo speakers. The smartphone comes with an IP68 rating which proves that the smartphone is both dust and water-resistant.
In case of the battery the smartphone features a 30W fast charging 4000mAh battery.

ASUS Zenfone 8 Flip Specs and Features
Most of us already guess through the name that the other smartphone will feature a flip camera setup which includes a 64 Megapixels Main camera with f/1.8 aperture and 12 Megapixels ultrawide camera with f/2.2 aperture.
As for the display of the smartphone the Zenfone 8 flip features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ display with 1080X2400 pixels resolution and supports a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone display is coated with Gorilla Glass 6 which makes the screen scratch-resistant and more durable.
The Zenfone 8 flip also powered with the same Snapdragon 888 SoC processor used in the other flagship smartphone from the company. As for the variants, the smartphone comes up with 8GB of RAM paired with 128GB and 256GB storage variants.
