Raising Dion Season 2 Release Date
Raising Dion comes under the top 10 most-watched and fans favorite Netflix original series in the US. So that simply means the release of season two is not so surprising as the successful series always got a new season and remains fans favorite.
Season two of the series was officially confirmed by Netflix shortly after the release of season one and the fans are patiently waiting after the announcement made in January 2020. The main reason for the delay of the series is the world pandemic (Covid-19) which delays the shooting of every movie and series for almost a full year.
But the good news regarding the release is that the fans don’t have to wait much longer now. As one of the cast members, Aubriana Davis posted a video on its Instagram handle in late May 2021 indicating the wrap-up of the shooting for Raising Dion season 2.
The shooting of the series was started in January 2021 according to another cast member’s post and the shooting was ended in May 2021. That means now the only work is left is the post-production before arriving the series to our Netflix screens.
Earlier in 2021, Wainwright confirmed that the series is all set to release this year and by seeing the production and work we can assume that the Raising Dion season 2 might release by the end of the year. As of present, there is no official release date known to us but with the rumors and the confirmation by Wainwright, we can assume that the series will release sometime in late summer/fall. If not in this year then the start of the year 2022 is a confirmed release date for the Netflix original series.
Season 2 Plot and Story
At the end of season 1, we get to see the defeat of Crooked Man by Dion, Nicole, and BIONA. Dion’s Father Mark must be one of the main characters in the second season of the series as we have seen in the first season that Mark’s ghost appears very frequently in the scenes.
The reason behind the ghost appearing is that Crooked Man trapped the soul of Mark. But after the defeat of Crooked Man Mark’s soul appeared again and gives his family a moving hug. At that family moment, Mark explains that the Energy Never Dies.
The second story that might lie for season 2 will involve conflict between Dion and Brayden. The season 1 finale ends with a cliffhanger revealing that the stormy entity managed to possess Brayden. Brayden is the son of one of the superpowered men that once absorbed by the Crooked Man.
So the second plot in which we may see the conflict between the two different generation superpowered kids. Now we just have to wait to see what is waiting for us in the second season as there is a lot of plot according to every person who has seen the first season of the Raising Dion series.

According to several reports, we get to know that this time there will be only eight episodes in the second season of the series. That means one episode less than the first season.
