Normal People is an Irish romantic psychological drama series that debuted in April 2020 on different video streaming platforms mainly BBC Three and HULU. The series is based on a novel with the same name written by Sally Rooney in the year 2018.
The story follows two main characters Marianne Sheridan and Connell Waldron who study in a high school in Sligo, Northwest Ireland. Connell is a popular student of the high school whereas Marianne is less popular they both started to date each other secretly.
After high school ends they both attend Trinity College in Dublin where the roles of both somehow reversed. Now Marianne is a popular one with many friends in the college and on the other hand, Connell is alone without any friends.
They both go through many phases of a relationship like a breakup but still, they both remain friends and always love each other. While facing ups and downs in their relationship they also face many other personal issues like abuse, depression, and the suicide of a friend.
At the end of their college year, Connell got an offer to join a creative writing program in New York. Whereas Marianne decided to stay and live in Ireland. She told Connell that they will live in a long-distance relationship and always be together and happy.
But as we all know no matter how strong your love is for each other many situations come in life that can affect your relationship. So after this, the show ends with a cliffhanger that we still know if both Connell and Marianne will end up together in the near future or not.

The first season of the series was released in April 2020 on BBC Three and HULU streaming platforms. It has been more than a year and we still don’t know if we will ever be able to see the series again or not.
As for the release date of the Normal People Season 2, we still lack information well if we have to say the show is almost ended and isn’t returning back in the correct wording.
