When the first season ends we got to see a cold conflict between mother and daughter after Ginny learns the truth behind the death of her father “Kenny”. Ginny also thinks that Georgia must have known about Gabriel’s true nature when confronting her about Georgia’s participation in Kenny’s unexplained death.
So after all this chaos in the first season, the story of the second season will start with distance in the relation of mother and daughter after Ginny knows that her mother is a killer. The story of the happy family will undergo certain changes in the next season as Austin’s father is now involved with his son’s writing.

Ginny and Georgia Season 2 Release Date
The first season of the series was released on February 2021 and within 28 days of its release, the series got over 52 million views which was a huge success. And after seeing the popularity of the show on April 19, 2021, Netflix announced the revival of the show for its second season.
In a statement of showrunner and executive producer, Debra J Fisher said “We are so appreciative of the incredible response and love you all have shown Ginny & Georgia.” He further added “We’re especially grateful to Brianne (Howey) and Toni (Gentry), who set the highest bar every step of the way. We can’t wait to return to Wellsbury for Season two.”
The creators confirmed that season 2 of the series will be made up of 10 hour-long episodes, which was started filming in November 2021 due to the Corona Pandemic. So with the late shooting, we cannot expect the show to arrive earlier than Mid of 2022.
It is only an assumption but you can assume that the show will be released on Netflix screens around July 2022.
