Apple’s manufacture Foxconn has recently started building iPhone 11 uints near chennai in india apple has manufacturing low price iPhone in india since 2017. Apple products is very costly in india before they are manufacturing in india, but after 2017 pricing is decreased and apple is considering moving production of its more premium models.
Apple is shifting his manufacturing from china to india , china is that place where most of the iPhone are currently made. In india apple have only 1% of market but if apple will start manufacturing of it’s premium products like iPad , Airpods , Mac , etc they will grow their market in india.
By selling locally-made devices in India, Apple would be able to avoid a 20 percent import duty that India imposes on foreign-made electronics. It’s not clear whether the devices are being manufactured for sale within India only, or for the broader worldwide market.
