In June 2020 Dr Disrespect was banned on Twitch but after one month Dr Disrespect stream first time on YouTube after Twitch ban his live stream was watched by over 500,000 people. He Still Doesn’t Know Why He Was Shut Down. He said that he and his team still has no idea on why he was banned. Twitch hasn’t commented on the ban either other than saying that it took action since the user violated community guidelines.
Regarding ban, Twitch has offered no specific explanation of ban till now Some have suggested that it could be the result of a DMCA take down or community guidelines of Twitch.
Dr Disrespect also reiterated his previous statements on legal proceedings being working with Twitch. He signed a multi-year deal with Twitch earlier this March.
At this point, Dr Disrespect is operating on YouTube independently. He is not signed to any sort of partnership deal or contract the one he had with Twitch. The Verge he intends to stream on Facebook and his own website, as well.
Dr Disrespect reportedly plans to explore other streaming options such as Facebook Gaming, and his own website as well. For now, there’s no exclusive deal reported between Dr Disrespect and YouTube
